The Literacy Center was developed to provide high quality professional development for classroom teachers. The goals of the Literacy Center are to improve the reading and writing skills of all students through highly skilled teachers, provide high quality training for teachers K-12, provide networks for literacy coordinators and reading specialists that meet regularly throughout the year, provide helpful materials for teachers and principals regarding best literacy practices.
